‘Robot to be sent with Chandrayan-II’
A robot would be sent along with Chandrayan-II mission to Moon to analyse the soil samples collected from the moon, said K Sivan, ISRO Chairman, on Sunday.

He was laying the foundation stone for the satellite data receiving station to be constructed in Tirunelveli, at the cost of Rs 83 crore.
Addressing the media after the function, Sivan said that Chandrayan-II is ready to be launched by the year-end. Meanwhile, the space agency said the third orbit raising operation of IRNSS-1I was successfully carried out at 10.50 pm on Saturday.
The navigation satellite was launched from Sriharikota on April 12.
