PM Narendra Modi pitches for political stability for betterment of Nagaland
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday disapproved the political instability experienced in Nagaland during last four years and said that the BJP-NDPP government will ensure development of the state.

Addressing an election rally, he also hoped that in "few months" an agreement and solution to the Naga political issue will be arrived at which will "respectable and acceptable" to the people of Nagaland.
"For this, we all have to work together," Prime Minister said in Hindi as his speech was translated into Nagamese by Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju.
"A stable and strong government is essential for the state," he said.
Prime Minister also said he always had high regards for traditional virtues of Naga people and a BJP government will ensure development and also bring in effective modern marketing facilities for the local people.
Earlier, welcoming the Prime Minster for the rally, former Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio thanked Mr Modi for approving the alliance between BJP and the newly floated NDPP.
The BJP is contesting 20 seats in the February 27 elections for the 60-member assembly and NDPP is contesting on remaining 40.
