In presence of PM Modi, Prez Trump pledges to 'destroy' Islamic terrorism
Counter terrorism figured prominently at the delegation level parleys at the Indo-US Summit talks between two sides here today where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the President Donald Trump pledged to give a new boost to the bilateral ties.

"We will destroy radical Islamic terrorism," President Trump told journalists emerging out of the meeting at the White House.
"Both India and USA are global engines of growth. Eliminating terrorism is among the topmost priorities for both India and the US," Prime Minister said.
Delegation level talks
The delegation level talks between Indian side and the American officials and top leaders including President Donald Trump and Prime Minster Narendra Modi began here a short while ago.
From India side, Mr Modi is being assisted at the talks by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Dr S Jaishankar and Indian envoy at the United States Navtej Sarna.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi said the American leadership is vital for global polity and both countries have always shared a great rapport.
President Trump welcomed the Indian delegation. Earlier welcoming Mr Modi, President Trump said "It is an honour to receive such a great Prime Minister".
"Economically India has been doing a great job," President Trump said.
