New Delhi
Anjali Rathour worked with a private mobile company and lived at the Shatabdi Rail Vihar complex in Sector 62. The CCTV footage shows a woman running with a man close on her heels. The time was 6.34 am. The man had a gun and apparently shot her at close range several times.
Rathour was later spotted by neighbours and then identified by a roommate who was on her way to a coaching class.Â
Her parents, who live in Haryana, have alleged that she was killed by someone known to her. She had started working in June last year. The police said that Rathour came down from her third floor home after receiving a call.Â
The man on CCTV had apparently signed his name on the entry register of the complex as ‘Shanno’. He also left a mobile number, which was found to have been used last near Hindon river. The man has not been identified yet, the police said. The girl’s family claimed that he studied with her in university.
