Six arrested in Delhi for betting on IPL match
With the arrest of six persons, the Delhi Police has claimed to have busted an IPL gambling racket from Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara.

Police sources said they received information about betting on the IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders on May 9.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Nupur Prasad said a team was formed to enquire into the matter. The team found the accused were taking bets online on the match.
Six persons were arrested from Vishwas Nagar and the police found records for transactions totalling Rs 1 crore, the officer said.
Two laptops, two LCDs, a notepad, an extension board, and 22 cellphones were also found from the the accused.
The police have identified the alleged kingpin as 38- year-old Manmohan Krishan alias Chunnu.
They said Manmohan associated himself with gambling in 2006 and had been betting on IPL matches since its inception in 2008. The racket was operating from a flat owned by Manmohan.
Two other accused-- Naveen Kumar and Manish Kumar -- helped him in running the racket.
The other three accused-- Sushil Pal, Mukesh Gupta and Keshav had gone there to place bets on the match, the DCP said.
