Infiltration bid foiled; 4 militants killed
Four militants were killed as Army foiled an infiltration bid in Keran sector in Kupwar district of north Kashmir.

A defence spokesman said that a group of militants tried to infiltrate from across the Line of  Control (LoC) in Keran sector but troops foiled their bid.
In the subsequent exchange of fire, four militants were killed, the spokesman said. Search operations are on in the area.
