AAP completes 4 years of its formation, Kejriwal greets party workers
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today greeted his party workers on fourth foundation day of the Aam Aadmi Party.
New Delhi
Four years back, on November 26 on the occasion of Constitution Day, Mr Kejriwal along with other activists of India Against Corruption launched the AAP following differences with anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, who led the IAC movement.Â
"Today is Constitution Day. Four years back on this day AAP was formed. My greetings to everyone. Long live the revolution," the AAP convener said in a tweet.
The party had made its electoral debut in the 2013 Delhi Assembly polls, where it emerged as the second-largest party winning 28 constituencies and later emerged as the single largest party by winning 67 seats out of 70 in 2015 Assembly elections.Â
Meanwhile, the party is eyeing to conquer Punjab and Goa in the upcoming Assembly polls.
