Addressing a massive rally here on the second day of the BJP National Council meeting here, he said that the sacrifice of 18 army men who lost their lives on the dastardly attack at the army camp in Uri sector on September 18 would not go waste and the country would not forget it.

He said, in raised voice, “India has never bowed to any country and in the future would not bow.”

In a hard hitting speech, Modi agreed to accept the challenge of Pakistan to fight a war of 1,000 years, but it would be a fight between two countries to eradicate unemployment and illiteracy. “Let us see who wins it,” the Prime Minister said.

Modi said, “Though both the countries got Independence at the same time, we are exporting software to other countries, while Pakistan is exporting terrorists.”

“What can I speak to a power that reads the speech written by terrorists,” he asked people of Pakistan and said that the country was not able to control regions within its own ambit and referred to the conditions in Baluchistan, Sindh, Gilgit and Paktoonistan apart from East Bengal (now Bangladesh).

In an emotional tone, he was in full praise of the sacrifice and valour of the armed forces and BSF men by stating that in the recent past, they had successfully aborted 17 attempts by terrorists from across the border to create trouble in the country. They had neutralised 110 terrorists in these encounters and imagine what would have been the damage they would have caused if they had penetrated and carried out their terrorist attacks, he asked.

The PM was in full praise of the armed forces and the border security personnel who had been keeping a constant vigil to safely secure the borders.
