Dayashanker now equates Mayawati with canine
Expelled former Uttar Pradesh BJP vice-president Dayashankar Singh, who was sacked from the party following his controversial remarks against Mayawati and subsequently arrested by police, has continued his derogatory statements against the Dalit leader by equating her with a “dog” and accusing her of “running after money”.

She is a greedy woman and is like a dog that chases speeding motorcycle in lanes, but steps back when the vehicle stops,” he said during a public meeting in Mainpuri on Sunday. Singh alleged that Mayawati and her family members and associates, including her brother Anand Kumar and party general secretary Satish Mishra, had “minted crores through dubious deals”. He also dubbed her “deceitful” and “coward”. Interestingly, Dayashanker Singh later completely retracted from his stand and denied equating Mayawati with a dog. Caught on the wrong foot, Dayashanker Singh, who in July last had called Mayawati with a derogatory remark while accusing her of selling BSP tickets to the highest bidders, later completely denied equating her to a dog, despite the fact that his comments were caught on camera. “It’s Mayawati and her party members who call us dogs instead,” he said. “Mayawati is corrupt to the core,” he said at a function. When BJP leaders were contacted for their comments, they claimed that he had already been expelled from the party way back in July, so he is not a party leader.
