Attack on Istanbul airport inhuman: Prime Minister Modi

"Attack in Istanbul is inhuman & horrific. I condemn it strongly. My thoughts are with bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly," he said in a tweet.

Suspected Islamic State group suicide bombers targeted the international terminal of Istanbul's Ataturk airport, killing at least 36 people and wounding many others.

Rahul Gandhi also expressed shock over the terror attack in Istanbul.

"Shocked &deeply saddened by news of yet another terror attack in Istanbul;.Strongly condemn this cowardly attack on innocents".       
 
"My prayers are with the families of the victims & the ppl of #Istanbul", the Congress Vice President said on Twitter.
