Going Viral: Student gets BMW from coaching institute for doing well in IIT-JEE

Buoyed by the excellent performance of Tanmay Shekhawat, Samarpan coaching institute, gifted him a grand BMW car. R L Poonia and Shrichand Dhaka, the directors of the Samarpan coaching institute, had promised that students who achieved 20th rank or higher than that in JEE Advanced, will be rewarded with a BMW car. 

After Tanmay cracked the exam, the director fulfilled their promise and gifted a BMW car, which costs Rs 28.50 lakh. The vehicle was originally bought by Dr RL Poonia and has travelled 1,500 kms since it was bought about a year ago. Since the news broke out, the photo of Tanmay with the BMW was shared multiple times on social media. Many netizens also believe the gift may just be a ploy to advertise the coaching institute’s achievement and lure more students.
