Going Viral: Trolled, Taher Shah trends after releasing Angel

Taher, who has always wanted to feature fairies in his music videos, finally had his wish fulfilled with this new song, that goes, “Angel, angel. Mankind’s angel. Angel, mankind’s angel. I’m like an angel, mankind’s angel. My heart is like a rose. Mankind’s soul. Dearest creation by God. La la la la..” The song also features him as an angel dressed in bright floor-sweeping gowns. 

And needless to say, Twitter was quick to troll him. While some chanted along to the song’s hypnotic lyrics, others found it rather disturbing. One user wrote, “Everytime his song is played, angels lose their wings. #TaherShah”. 

Another said, “I was going to defend #TaherShah’s right to free will... But then I saw some photos. They’re going to scar us all for life.” However, one of the wittiest comments was from actress Twinkle Khanna, who wrote, “Pakistan doesn’t need nuclear weapons they can just drop this purple bomb on us #TaherShah.”
