2 Indian students killed in Russian medical university fire
Two Indian girl students were killed in a fire at a medical university in western Russia and some others injured, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Monday.

“We have lost two Indian girl students (both from Maharashtra) studying at Smolensk Medical Academy in Russia in a fire accident,” Ms. Swaraj tweeted.
The Minister further said: “Some students are injured. They are out of danger. The place is 400 kms from Moscow. Our team has already reached there.”
According to the Russian investigative committee, the preliminary report showed that fire occurred at the fourth floor of the dormitory of the university on Sunday morning.
Ms. Swaraj said the mortal remains of the students will be brought to Mumbai on Tuesday.
