Tamil Nadu Bhavan to be opened in Pamba: Panneerselvam

Speaking at  Pamba Sangamam, organised by Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB), the minister said on Thursday that the construction of Tamil Nadu Bhavan would be completed in a short span of time. Necessary land will be allotted at Pazhani in Tamil Nadu, he informed. 

Panneerselvam said around three crore pilgrims were visiting Sabarimala from Tamil Nadu. He lauded the efforts of the Kerala Government and Devaswom Board for providing better facilities to pilgrims. A 30-member team, including 11 MLAs offered worship at Sabarimala. 

Meanwhile, Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said a master plan of Rs 625 crore had been prepared for the development of hill shrine and its surrounding areas. In a release here, the Chief Minister said Rs 100 crore project had been chalked out for Erumeli. 

Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB)  President Prayar Gopalakrishnan has handed over a cheque of Rs 30 lakh to Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Panneerselvam as a donation to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.The donation was handed over in a function in which Kerala Devaswom Minister VS Sivakumar presided over. PJ Kurien, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, was the chief guest. Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala delivered the keynote address.
