Naidu’s advice to Congress on Herald case

Speaking to reporters, here on Saturday, Mr Naidu said that the union government had no role in the National Herald case, but the Congress party was trying to fight a legal battle in Parliament instead of fighting it in court.

“The ED has not issued any notice to them, income tax authorities will only follow their procedure. The government has not passed any order whatsoever and it has no role in the National Herald case,” he said, adding that by disturbing the Parliament, Congress and its friends were harming the country and also harming themselves and only a thorough investigation would bring out the truth.
