Post on Valimai from fake ID of director Vinoth goes viral, disappoints Ajith fans

The actor’s fans were awaiting an update on New Year’s eve and several media houses speculated that the motion poster of Valimai will be released on December 31.

Cashing in on the situation an impostor ID of director H Vinoth with 18,000 followers tweeted that there is indeed an update on New Year’s Eve. 

Even before netizens could realise the tweet was from a fake ID, it went viral on the internet and television channels broadcast the “newsbreak”. 

While we all know that the news was fake just like the ID, the information we have for Ajith fans is that there will be no official update on the film till April 2021.

“Any unofficial updates on Valimai should be ruled out till April. The team is committed on wrapping up this schedule in the first week of January and shoot is taking place in full swing. Until then, rumours on Valimai updates should be ruled out,” said a reliable source.
