RGV releases real star Upendra's 'Kabza' theme poster

Actor Upendra’s most expected upcoming film 'Kabza' has been creating much speculation ever since its shooting which commenced last year.

As the Kannada real star Upendra celebrates his birthday, director Ram Gopal Varma released the theme poster of Kabza.

The "super" actor looks retro cool in the poster which has garnered much attention from his fans. The film's story is said to travel during the period from 1947 until 1980.

Director R Chandru's Kabza features Upendra as an underworld don. The poster shows him smoking a cigar above a pile of corpses. The background objects like vintage trains, the trains, car, trucks add to the retro appeal of the film.

Initial reports reveal that the weapons shown in the poster are modelled based on the ones used in 1947.

This mega project is bankrolled by MTB Nagaraj under his Sri Siddeshwara Entertainments banner and the movie is said to be a trilingual -Kannada, Tamil and Telugu, while it will be dubbed and released in Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi and Bengali.

Kabza is the second collaboration of R Chandru and Upendra after I Love You. Music Director Ravi Basrur composes the music and Arjun Shetty is the cinematographer for the movie. The movie also has Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu in a prominent role as revealed by the director.
