SP Charan in his latest video has claimed that the rumours regarding his father's health update stating that the veteran singer might require kidney transplantation are completely baseless.

Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam who was detected for COVID earlier was admitted in MGM Health Care for treatment. After a health setback, SPB was tested negative for corona, but hospital authorities had released a bulletin a few days ago in which they had stated that the singer that his current clinical condition warrants an extended stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). It also read that SPB continues to remain stable and continues to require ventilator and ECMO support even while his vital parameters are satisfactory.

Meanwhile, SP Charan had uploaded a video in his Instagram account where he stated that the singer in on the road of slow and steady recovery and that they don't expect any drastic change in his health every day.

He said that he keeps meeting his father on daily basis and read along the lines of the hospital bulletin that was released a day before. while he thanked the fans for the prayers and concern, he requested them not to believe in rumours surfacing in the internet. He said he will divulge all the important updates either by himself or through his PRO Nikhil Murugan or via the hospital sources and not through any other medium. Charan further rubbished rumours about his discharge from hospital or about the kidney transplant and claimed that they are baseless. "There was also news about him singing from the ICU for all his fans, which is also not true. please be wary of all of this news".

He further requested the media not spread such unauthentic news' as it pressurises the patients' family further. SP Charan said that its either he or his PRO were the only people authorised to give updates about the singer's health.
