Makeover Magic: Homemaker gets a stunning, edgy transformation

It’s a new year and there is much excitement in the air. Everyone has an optimistic outlook for 2018 and resolutions have already been made. One of the resolutions that is on priority on everyone’s list is to become a better version of themselves, inside out. One such customer who walked into our salon to reinvent herself with a new look was Abirami. This 36-year-old homemaker wanted to give her hair a completely new look with cut and colour.

As Abirami’s hair texture was frizzy and dry, the experts decided to give her a cut that will enhance hair volume and contour her face to make it appear sharp. Keeping in mind the customer’s thin hair density, the style experts opted for a square-layer cut with a graduated side fringe to complement her forehead.

To accentuate her features, the experts decided to use natural and subtle shades for hair colouring using the classic weaving technique. The weaving technique allows one to go lighter or darker all over, while maintaining dimensions from the root.

The style experts opted for a brown shade with mahogany highlights to complement the dusky, dewy skin tone of the customer. The beauty of this brown shade is that it has a universal appeal that gives a tint of red with mahogany reflection in sunlight, which will enhance the overall look. The experts gave honey mahogany highlights and a blonde contoured fringe. The weaving technique helped in giving a seamlessly blended finish to the hair style. The look was completed by styling her hair sleek-straight and set with a sparkling fixing spray, which also added shine to her hair.
