Actress Jyothika attends Peekaboo Patterns' carnival

The air was filled with the sounds of laughter & chitter-chatter as little ones excitedly partook in a range of fun activities ranging from pretty nail art, to rough-and-tumble gymnastics! The Carnival also included the launch of ‘Love Story’ by Bhavna Jasra, a range of home casting kits to cast impressions of your baby’s hands and feet from the comfort of your own home! 

Lines of little girls queued up to get their nails painted, promptly followed by a tub-thumping aerobics session involving pretend grandpa sharks and hungry fish! 

Kids also experimented with somersaults, roll-overs & other types of gymnastics, on swathes of soft foam. Meanwhile, boxes of squishy slime& fidget spinners were hastily getting sold out while the make-your-own robotics stall& the cupcake frosting workshop saw kids eagerly getting their hands on brightly colored frosting, and shiny LED bracelets! 

Away from all this hyperactivity was a quiet circle where little ones got busy with pencils & papers under the guidance of popular illustrator, Satwik Gade, who taught the bunch of little artists how to create their own comics. 

“The idea behind the carnival was to collaborate with companies that are designing experiential activities for kids. We mixed it up with an assorted range of events to suit every little kid’s varied interests. Our next event is the launch of a children’s cookbook authored by Shree Periakaruppan!” says Garima Agarwal, Founder, Peekaboo Patterns. 

The launch was attended by actress Jyothika accompanied by her children, actor Karthi’s wife, Ranjani and enthusiastic mums& kids from across the city! Activities were hosted by Robotix Learning Solutions, Vats of Slime, The Little Gym of Alwarpet, Jellyfish Dance Co., & Foodology. One lucky winner was the recipient of a 30-minute complimentary photo shoot courtesy Mommy Shots by Amrita!
