Makeover Magic: Young model gets party ready

Monochrome makeup has and continues to be a beauty trend that gives a classy yet dramatic appearance. This trend is here to stay and consists of using the same shade of colour on the eyes, cheeks and lips. The tonality of the makeup would vary, depending on the choice of shade one uses. Thus, one can go for a bold, classy, soft, fresh or even dramatic look based on the shade one picks. 

The process started with hydrating the customer’s skin by cleansing, toning and moisturising. Then the style experts applied primer as the base to start the makeup to fill in the pores and give an even skin tone. To further brighten the eyes of the customer, a concealer/colour correcter was used. Foundation was then applied and blended evenly to maintain a smooth skin tone. The base was finally set in place using a compact powder as it helps the makeup stay for a longer duration. 

For the eyebrows, a brown shade was added to give her natural yet polished and defined brows. Considering her sharp features, her T-zone (part of your face that is made up of the forehead, nose, chin and area circling the mouth) and cheekbones were accentuated by contouring and highlighting technique. A mix of pink, copper and peach shades of eye shadow were blended and added to the eye lid and the under eye as well to create that dusty rose effect. The eye makeup was finished with false lashes and metallic, white kohl was applied on the waterline to open up her eyes thus making them look bigger and beautiful. A soft shade of pink blush was applied on the apples of her cheeks. The customer’s lips were highlighted with a shade of peach lipstick thus keeping the monochrome look intact. The look was finally set with a fixing spray. An elegant hairdo was also created for Niranjani to finish the look thus making her party ready for the evening.
