City DJ opens a cool shack in Mahabs

For Prashanth, one of the most popular DJs in the city, it’s no different. So, he decided to get his own pad. Flip Flops, a new beach shack in Mahabalipuram is his brainchild. “I have always wanted a good hangout spot by the beach, a place to throw cool parties. 

Sabari my partner found this property and when he approached me I said yes without any hesitation. I have known him for decades and he was one of the first people who used to hire me for gigs. We got incredibly lucky with the location because the views are stunning. 

People who are bored of their usual dinner dates and brunches can drive down here to enjoy the brilliant sunrise and eat a yummy breakfast,” he said. 

When one of the hottest DJs owns a shack, you know that sundowners and beach festivals are a given. They also have regular pastry workshops by a French chef from Puducherry, and games on the beach.
