Einstein’s note on happiness surfaces after 95 years
A note about happiness written by Albert Einstein to a courier in Tokyo has surfaced after 95 years.

It says, “Quiet and modest life brings more joy than a pursuit of success bound with constant unrest.”
It will be auctioned in Jerusalem alongside another note also given to courier by Einstein. A Japanese courier arrived at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo to deliver Einstein a message when he was on a tour.
The courier either refused to accept a tip in line with local practice or Einstein had no change available. Einstein didn’t want the messenger to leave empty-handed, so he wrote him two notes by hand in German.
