Makeover magic: IT professional gets quirky hairdo

That’s exactly the look that Aakash, a 27-year-old IT professional wanted when he walked into our salon recently. Aakash wanted a look that is classy. His main request was to create a no-fuss look for him that would work well at his professional space and otherwise. To give Aakash an overall fresh look, the style experts opted to colour his hair with warm mahogany base and honey highlights. 

Understanding his professional and personal lifestyle, the style experts opted to colour Aakash’s hair with fine highlights using warm shades which also complemented his skin tone. The placement of the highlights was such that it also helped in making the hair appear more voluminous. The style experts adopted the Balayage technique. 

Balayage is a French word meaning ‘to sweep’ or ‘to paint’. It allows for a sunkissed natural-looking hair colour, similar to what nature gives us as children. 

To complement the colour planned for Aakash, the style experts decided to give him a graduated undercut on the sides and back, while leaving the top with medium length hair. Having studied his sharp features and thick and straight hair, a high fade undercut was recommended to further draw attention to his features. 

To accentuate the fade in his haircut, a faded trim of his beard completed his look contouring his perfectly rectangular jawline and turned Aakash into a ‘work hard party harder’ example to be followed!
