India to hold yoga, cultural fest in Hungary
The second edition of ‘Ganges-Danube Cultural Festival of India’ and the third International Day of Yoga will be organised from June 23 -25 across 15 cities in Hungary.

Promoting ancient Indian tradition of de-stressing thoughcontrol of the body and mind, the Indian Embassy is hosting a three-day yogaand cultural festival kick-starting celebrations of the 70th anniversary ofIndia's independence.
Indian Ambassador to Hungary Rahul Chhabra said Chhabrasaid for the first time ever the historic Chain Bridge was lit up with Indiancolours and motifs on Wednesday to mark the International Yoga Day. He said thecities where both the festivals would be held included Budapest, Balatonfured,Debrecen, Eger, Esztergom, Gyor, Nagykanizsa, Nagykoros, Miscolc and Pecs.
"In Szentendre, which is a historic city on thebanks of Danube river, a ceremony of mixing waters of the Ganga and the Danubewill be performed, symbolising the confluence of two cultures," he said. Duringthe ceremony, religious ceremonies, including worship of both the rivers, willbe done.
Besides yoga practices and workshops, the second andfinal day of the event will include dance, music, food and Bollywood movies. They will be open to the public free of cost.
The Ambassador said several Mayors had contacted theIndian embassy to include more cities in the cultural festival in view of itshuge success last year.
