Down the Silk route

The special showcase titled, ‘The Fabric of Dreams’, was launched with a fashion show which had models dressed in detailed Kanchivarams in iridescent colours. Speaking at the event, Jeyasree Ravi, founder of the brand, said, “This collection, that took over six months to curate, is an expression of life’s most beautiful moments.

Through these 50 limited-edition sarees, we have revisited the grand tradition of Kanchivaram silk with a contemporary touch.” There was also a photo exhibition, ‘Kanchivaram on the Silk Route’, a collection featuring beautiful sarees shot along the silk trail connecting India, Tibet and China.
