Makeover Magic: College girl gets summer makeover

Analysing client’s sharp features, the stylist decided give her an asymmetrical bob haircut. An asymmetric haircut does not have left-right symmetry and one side is cut or appears to be longer than the other. 

Asymmetric cut is suitable for all women with any kind of face shape, as the hair cut helps in defining a person’s jaw line. The line of asymmetry makes the face look longer than usual. 

The other advantage of this haircut is that it suits any kind of hair texture and can be worn in different ways — permed, curled or even scrunched up. 

The client had frizzy thick hair and post the hair cut, the volume was contained and she looked elegant. The look was completed by straightening the hair to highlight the face cut and features of the customer. Another twist to this style can be added by highlighting the tips of the hair or colouring the entire hair. The client was very happy with the makeover as this hair cut is easy to maintain during summer and goes well with both western and Indian attires. 

She also felt very comfortable as the hair cut removed weight from her head and shoulders and made her feel a whole lot lighter.
