Video of tigers chasing a drone goes viral
A footage released by the Chinese state broadcaster CCTV shows Siberian tigers at the Siberian Tiger Park in Harbin, a city in northeast China, sprinting after an airborne drone in the February snow.

The video that has now gone viral seems to have been recorded by another drone as one flying low is struck down by a tiger that pounces on it and is surrounded by the rest shortly.Â
Staff at this tiger park in China’s Heilongjiang province were reportedly using the drones to give the overweight tigers a workout before spring, China Central Television explained on its news site.Â
However, controversy broke soon after it went viral on media. Animal rights activists came forward to expose where they believe the viral Siberian tigers actually are: a slaughter farm. Per Big Cat Rescue, the farm has disguised itself as an animal rescue to the public since 2010 at least.Â
The same farm was scrutinised earlier this month for similar images of obese tigers; animal activists raised serious concerns about how the animals were being fed and treated.
