Celebrating royalty

The festivities were extra special this time around as this year, the UK also celebrates the UK-India ‘Year of Culture’, a year-long celebration of the 70-year-long relationship between the two countries, which will see a vast programme of cultural exchange and activity in cities across both regions. 

Guests at the gala event were also treated to a performance by internationally acclaimed classical pianist Anil Srinivasan’s children’s choir, followed by a rendition of the Indian and British national anthems. 

Meanwhile, young singer and musician Ryan Fernandes and band played light rock and jazz. DJ Eddie played a range of popular music.
