India’s first airplane eatery trends on Internet
If you are fond of travelling and food, next time you are in Punjab, surely take time out to travel to Ludhiana and enjoy a meal at India’s first uber-cool restaurant housed inside a junk Airbus 320, which once flew for Air India. It was brought in parts from Delhi in four trucks.

This airplane restaurant is situated at the Verka Milk Bar premises on Ferozepur Road in the city, where Milkfed, the state-run corporation that owns Verka brand, has reportedly leased out the land to the owners.
Hawai Adda, the airplane restaurant is fast becoming a popular fine-dining destination. The one-of-its-kind eatery, which is already a huge hit in Ludhiana, also has a bakery, cafe and a small banquet hall that can accommodate up to 40 people.
It’s original seating capacity is 180, but to keep the restaurant well-ventilated, the seating capacity has been reduced to 72. It serves pure vegetarian food. Even though the project ran into some trouble last year and its opening was delayed, it is now up and running.
