When sportsmen cooked up a storm in the city
Aircel Chennai Open’s top stars played a different game on Tuesday evening at the Hyatt Regency, as they took on a couple of super models in a cocktail mixing and cook-off competition.

With a quick set of guidelines on what to do and how to assemble the dishes and prepare the glass, the players were seen enthusiastically taking over the new challenge The Swedish pair of Johan Brunstrom and Andreas Siljestrom showed off their bartending skills in style, making quite an impression on the judge of the evening, popular model and now author of cookbook, Shvetha Jaishanker.
Roberto Bautista Agut and Steve Darcis displayed their culinary skills as they made delicious pizzas and pani puris alongside food and fashion photographer Kunal Daswani, who was the judge for the session. The event was a complete entertainer as the players shared several light moments during the sessions and posed happily alongside supermodels Carol Gracias, Sonalika Sahay and other models for the shutterbugs.
“I have never done something like this,” Agut said. “It was a great experience. I am enjoying every moment of my stay in Chennai,” he added. Roberto Bautista-Agut had participated in a cook-off session during the 2016 session of the Chennai Open as well.
