Legendary dancer Vyjayanthimala Bali’s conference session on Eternal Classicism was a huge draw. A session on ‘character portrayal’ in dance-theatre curated by Krithika Subramanian in association with Dr VR Devika with Sheejith Krishna, Sachchidanand, Swarnamalya Ganesh, Madhumathi, Madhuvanthi Arun, Kali Haripadaman and Moorty, also attracted a lot of curiosity among guests. Dancer Mallika Sarabhai and her troupe performed a beautiful piece at the event. A special panel discussion on ‘Inventive Design of Temple jewellery & Dance Costuming’ by Anita Ratnam, Rehane Yavar Dhala and VJ Sivakumar was followed by a fashion show.
