The observance of ‘Alumni Day’ is an endeavour of the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram and their Alumni Association to bring together its alumni of different schools on a common platform transcending the generation barriers. The institution has had exemplary students like Gen. Sundarjee, Dr Y V Reddy, Ramanathan Krishnan, Justice Chandru, P Shankar, Nalli Kuppuswami Chetty and many others.
It was established in pursuance of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and seeds were sown for establishing the institution with a service-orientation.
The Ashram and the Association invite all its alumni across the world to take part in the event.
