Chennai
Since when have you been painting?Â
I have been painting since the age of four and all the credit goes to my parents. My dad is also an artist and my mother is a music teacher. Both of them have always encouraged me and supported my love for art. It is because of them that I have managed to come so far. I feel blessed.
What is the basic theme of the exhibition?Â
I will have about 30 paintings of mine in this exhibition. There is no common theme as such. But I primarily deal with nature and reality around. I also have a few sculptures on display.’
What is the most prized recognition till date for you?Â
I have been winning numerous national and a few international awards as well. But I was extremely happy to receive Kalai Ilamani award from the Arts and Culture dept., Govt. of Tamil Nadu. I am really proud of it.
