After a nail-biting last few rounds of the one-and-a-halfhour grand finale, the team from AMM Matriculation Higher Secondary School (Saikrishna, Sarvesh and Praveen) emerged champions.
The team from Vidya Mandir Mylapore and Chettinad Vidyashram were the runners up. Apart from the finalists, many prizes were also given to members of the audience for the various questions asked by the quizmaster Dr Navin Jayakumar.
The quiz was conducted for the first time in 2011 with 96 teams, and steadily grew in size every year. This edition had various innovative rounds in addition to the usual rounds of quizzing.
