Anju Modi's exquisite designs on display at Evoluzione, Chennai

The collection showcases the designer’s indisputable skills as a couturier, and her ability to adapt to more streamlined aesthetics for a luxury festive range.

She is showcasing ensembles from the Amour collection and the much appreciated, Bajirao Mastani series. Adorned with intricate hand embroideries and crafted block-print patterns, the Bajirao Mastani collection is a selection of vibrant vermillion and blush hues, tailored in tussar georgette, khadi, benarasi kuthi and cotton lace trimmings.

The Amour collection take on exotic forms in sublime color palettes that reflect on the rich Persian aesthetics still prevalent in Indian culture. Rose, Indigo and Gold tones are predominant throughout the collection, with pale greens and lush reds adding a fresh flourish. The handcrafted brocade prints are reminiscent of embroidered dresses worn by Persian royalty.

The collection will be on display at Evoluzione on Khader Nawaz Khan Road on the 3rd & 4th of September.
