It’s been 18 years since Hrithik Roshan made his Bollywood debut with Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai. But nothing has changed yet as the actor continues to impress us with his killer looks, performance and choice of films. The Krrish star was recently in Chennai for the launch of RADO’s new store at a popular city mall, where the Swiss watchmaker unveiled its season’s festive collections.
In an interview to DTNext, Roshan tells us how Chennai has always welcomed him with joy. “It’s been quite a long time since I visited this city. Even after all these years, the love for me has never changed. It feels great to be here again and the place will always be close to my heart.”
The actor also recollects the days he spent with his dad in Chennai. “Years ago, I came to Chennai with my dad for promotion of one of his films. It was crazy. People didn’t let me even to enter theatre premises as they just surrounded me for pictures. I can never forget it. I witnessed so much love.”
While B’wood stars like Akshay Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddique and Nana Patekar are taking up projects in Tamil, ask him if he has any idea to sign films down south, he says, “I haven’t planned anything like that as of now. In fact, I have not been offered any roles in Tamil till date. But you never know what’s in store for you in future.” On his upcoming Bollywood projects, he says, “I am working on a film titled Super 30 and I am quite excited about it. It’s shaping up really well. I am also teaming up with Yash Raj Films for another.”
