Raffi: Meet Chennai boy’s robot with built-in emotions

CHENNAI: 13-year-old Prateek from Chennai builds a robot named 'Raffi' with build-in emotions that responds to all questions, like bots, but gets rude and decides to stay silent when scolded.

The robot exhibits a trait very close to emotion that doesn't only respond when scolded, but the cherry on cake is that it can only be re-established back by apologising for it. Raffi can detect emotions of the interlocutor and can send signals when they feel sad. "Raffi, my robot, can answer queries. If you scold him, he won't answer your queries until you are sorry. It can even understand you if you are sad," Prateek told ANI.

The 13-year-old continues to get appreciated for tremendous achievement by the users.
