Tongues wag as Chinese Naval officers savour chole bhature on board INS Shakti
Tweeple went gaga over Chinese naval officers having chole-bhature on board INS Shakti during the international fleet review held in Qingdao, China. This preparation of chickpeas and fluffy bread made from maida was served to the Chinese naval officers, when two Indian battleships, including the biggest indigenously built stealth destroyer INS Kolkata, arrived at the port city of Qingdao to take part in the Chinese Navy’s fleet review. Reactions ranged from expressing concern over their white uniforms getting stained by the oily preparation to suggestions over using the right detergent to remove the same if stained. One of the users even asked “is chola bhatura served on Tuesday for lunch in the Navy too” for which a retired Naval officer replied, “Yes, Tuesday is vegetarian day- chole bhature for lunch in most Wardroom.”

Of failure, frustration in identifying common things
Recently, a Twitter user asked his followers to identify just one thing from a bunch of things shown in a photograph. The bizarre picture, first shared on Twitter by user @melip0ne, features multiple objects on a white floor. However, none of them are easily recognisable. It has made most tweeple seriously restless. Since being posted on April 23, the tweet has gained over 65,000 ‘likes’ and more than 3,000 comments. The image seems to have left many confused and people haven’t held back while expressing their reactions and frustration. One reaction even went to the extreme of calling it an “AI generated image meant to test the limits of the human psyche. I have failed the test.” Never mind, take a good look and see if you can identify the common things in the picture.
