Bat invasion disrupts NBA game in San Antonio
A tightly-contested basketball game between San Antonio Spurs and Brooklyn Nets was held up at the AT&T Centre in San Antonio due to bat invasion. Officials were forced to stop play when several bats swooped down onto the court, leading to support staff from both teams to swing at the flying mammals with towels. One staffer even took to the court with a net in an attempt to capture the bats. Several videos of the incident were shared on social media.
Scottish BMX rider jumps onto Burj Al Arab
In a video going viral, Kriss Kyle, a brave BMX biker from Scotland, is seen perfectly landing on his bicycle after plunging from the chopper about 16 feet onto the helipad of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel on Dubai’s coast without any harness, armed with just a helmet. Kyle’s said: “If I can’t picture it (the stunt) in my head I won’t do it as I know it won’t work out and could possibly end badly.” His latest stunt has certainly left many awe-struck.
