In the video uploaded on November 2015, the actor says it’s upto individuals to decide whether to eat or not to eat beef and there are scientific research results for them to understand the effects of consuming beef.
“I used to eat beef, but later decided to quit for my personal agenda of not consuming animals bigger than humans in size,” he says. The actor adds that it is okay to eat animals smaller in size and added that the government’s duty is to feed people and not to decide the menu.
He also predicts that insects as a means of food will be a bigger industry in 30 years, “though people may laugh at the idea now”. The video is being shared and re-shared on Facebook and has crossed over 731,998 views until Sunday.
