Vishaka was immensely comfortable in wearing a smart body-fit golden dress. Not an easy garment to pull off! But she managed with panache. For the eyes, we created a kohl-smudged, smoky effect. Lakme Absolute kajal was used on the lower lid to create a soft smoky kohl look. Lashes were filled with Maybelline Volume Express mascara to add more intensity to the smoky eyes. On the upper lid we used pink MAC eye shadow with MAC Amber Lights to give a touch of golden. For the face, we used a primer followed by MAC Studio Fix to give a clean satin finish to the skin. This was followed by peach-coloured blush from MAC and a glow kit light shade to highlight the cheek bones. On the lips I used MAC So chao. Vishaka has beautiful and thick locks and so we created a voluminous blow-dry with in and out curls just to give it natural full and flowy look. We prepped the hair with a L’Oreal mousse and finished it with an Elnett Satin Hairspray by the same brand. The writer is the founder of Wink Salon.
