Metro Water counters to be kept open on Sunday for tax payment

CHENNAI: Tax counters of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Metro Water) will remain open on Sunday as the last day for paying water and sewage taxes falls on Sept 30. Counters in area offices, depot offices and head office will be open between 8.30 am and 1.30 pm on Sunday. Residents can pay by cash or cheque at the counters. They can also pay their taxes through the Metro Water website using credit and debit cards, and also via net banking.
