Cops rescue stranded in Red Hills, Pulianthope
City police rescued senior citizens who were stranded in Red Hills and Pulianthope, while Secretariat Colony police rescued a 33-year-old man stuck inside a dilapidated building on Wednesday night.

Madhavaram Deputy Commissioner Balakrishnan received information that five senior citizens including three women were stranded in Red Hills bus stand since Monday and alerted Inspector Saravanan. A team immediately rushed to the spot and rescued all five. Similarly, Pulianthope police rescued a 107-year-old man whose house was surrounded by rainwater on Wednesday night. Meanwhile, Secretariat Colony police rescued a 33-year-old man who was stuck inside a dilapidated house on Wednesday night after which the roof collapsed.
