Final semester exams to be conducted from home: Madras University

University of Madras on Tuesday announced that the final semester examinations will not be conducted online and that the students will write the exams at home. It was reported that the decision was taken after considering the rules and regulations of University Grants Commision.

This comes following the Central Government's order to conduct the final semester exams compulsorily.

The report stated that the students are expected to write their answers in A4 sheets for minimum 18 pages in the duration of 90 minutes.

The questions for the exams will be available in the University's website or can be accessed through whatsapp. The completed answer sheets can be uploaded online or sent through speedpost to the respective colleges or the university.

Arts and Science colleges in Chennai, Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram that are affliated to University of Madras can follow this mode of examination.
