In between teaching at her racing academy, Alisha has completed cosmetology courses from Doha, Chennai and New Delhi. Though she couldn’t open her studio because of the lockdown, she started making oils and luxury soaps during this period.

“My racing academy is now shut because of the lockdown and since all the racing competitions have been postponed, I thought of exploring my new passion — skincare. While studying and researching oils and soaps, I understood that we can easily make them at home. That’s how I started making different types of handmade soaps and oils. I am also making toners and creams now,” she says.

The champion tells us that she is very careful about skincare. “I am extra careful when it comes to skincare. After making a soap or oil, I try it on my skin to see the results. After that only I share it with others. Though it’s been only a month since I started making soaps, I have been getting a good response from people. I believe in including luxury and elegance in soaps. A few of our handmade soaps include run forest run soap for acne, murder by mocha (made of dark chocolate and almond oil), leave me alone (made of wine and frankincense oil), soapuccino (made with granules of coffee beans and grape seed oil). But the most expensive soap is called the royal. It is a 24k gold soap made with saffron, gold ash, kumkumadi oil and 24k gold foil. It is good to remove sun tan, pigmentation and dark spots,” Alisha explains.

The entrepreneur is also planning to give franchise for women. “I wanted to motivate women to become financially independent. I am planning to juggle between my racing academy and cosmetology studio,” she says.
