CMRL wins award for safe transportation
The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has added another feather in its cap by winning the prestigious Fist awards by the Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI).

An official release said that CMRL has been declared national award winner for ‘Safe and Secure Transportation’ facility at Finest India Skills and Talent (FIST) awards 2020 presented at an event in Greater Noida, New Delhi, on Thursday.
It said that the award recognises extraordinary contribution of organisation and individuals in the field of security, safety, firefighting and emergency response. The award was presented by Pankaj Dharkar, international president, FSAI and was received on behalf of CMRL by Rajeev Narayan Dwivedi, Director (Projects), CMRL. Meanwhile, CMRL, in association with Apollo Hospitals, had organised free general health camp for the benefit of the Metro passengers and public at 12 Metro stations from February 24 to 28.
