The festival will bring to life various art forms, cultures and cuisine from villages in Tamil Nadu. Organised by a city-based brand and event management company, the thiruvizha will see artistes from various districts of Tamil Nadu performing celebrated art forms and cultural dances like karagattam, mayilattam, oyilattam, poikaal kuthirai, silambattam and more. Apart from this, there will be an inter-school and inter-college competition on folk dance, folk song and street play.

Hemachandran, one of the main organisers of the event, says, “The first and second edition was an instant hit with the people and we are delighted to give this wonderful experience to people. We are equipping the third edition with a larger-than-life setup with all-round entertainment options where people across age groups could participate.” Another highlight will be the food stalls that serve authentic traditional dishes from across Tamil Nadu.
