Soon, the car caught fire. Security officers at the airport doused it using fire extinguishers. They also moved other vehicles away from the car in order to prevent the fire from spreading.

The blaze was put out within a few minutes. The Airport police, who arrived at the spot, conducted enquires, inspected the vehicle and said that the fire broke out following a short circuit in the wiring. They have registered a case.
