Man attacked, robbed by trio near Puzhal
A 40-year-old man from Bihar was brutally attacked with weapons by an autorickshaw-borne trio and robbed of Rs 25,000 in cash and a mobile phone. The incident happened on Friday when the victim Krishnakumar was waiting for an autorickshaw to Puzhal.

A three-member gang offered to drop him. Believing them, he boarded the auto. However, they kidnapped him and attacked him with weapons and robbed him of cash and phone and escaped. He was rushed to the hospital and is said to be critical. A case has been registered and a hunt for trio has been launched.
